The South Bay Science Foundation

The South Bay Science Foundation is an innovative organization incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit organization in 1994 to use all resources at its command to develop a culture wherein the study and successful application of current and future sciences and technologies are the norm.

Our mission is to create opportunities for students, educators, researchers and technicians, innovative technology companies, and their communities. In doing so we believe the Foundation will foster economic opportunities and spawn advantages for enriched quality of life.

We are an energetic facilitator, bringing together diverse agenda for the common good. Our partners are various levels of government, colleges, universities, k-12 educators, research scientists, technology based companies, the communities where they reside and virtually any individual or organization that is able to assist our programs.

South Bay Science Foundation programs continuously encourage students to find excitement in learning, support practitioners in their quests for funding and alliance creation, foster technology company growth, and demonstrate to the community the value of encouraging research and supporting science and technology based businesses.

We are a trusted partner and an honest broker of ideas seeking innovative methods for educating current and future workers, stimulating interest in the sciences, and finding new avenues for continued economic growth through the nation’s vast scientific and technological resources.
