PROGRAMS

The South Bay Science Foundation is an innovative 501c3 non-profit corporation formed in 1994 to use its resources to develop a culture wherein the study and successful application of current and future sciences and technologies are the norm.

Our mission is to create and facilitate beneficial and sustainable opportunities for students, educators, researchers and technicians, innovative technology companies, and their communities.

The Foundation achieves its objectives via a sell-design-build model whereby each proposed program begins with a concept championed by a person who is expected to locate fiancial and intellectual resources supporting the program.

Once those funds are secured the program is fully developed and implemented.  Key components of all Foundation programs are sustainability and execution. We do not undertake programs that cannot be sustained or lack resources for full execution in a timely manner.

Foundation donors may earmark their donations for specific programs or allow the Foundation to allocate revenue as it sees fit.

South Bay Science Foundation programs are in mission specific target areas.
